Very pleased with this bed! After purchasing another wooden loft bed also from Wayfair that not only came with a few damaged pieces, but missing pieces as well my husband and I were hesitant about this bed, but were surprised. This bed came on time with all pieces, no damage and was packaged a hundred times better. Instructions were pretty straightforward and bed is extremely sturdy which was our main concern. Our four year old climbs up and down the ladder with ease. Material bins are also well made and strip lights add a cool touch. All right so to start off, the bedframe is really big so if you get the kids size, you should probably think about getting the mattress first just because it might seem really big on the kids size. Now if you get the adult size that’s fine. Everyone can get whatever size they want but the adult size frame is gonna be probably pretty big. If I would think of it now the kids size is pretty big and my mattress does leave a little bit of space as you can see in the photos, but if you do get the adult size that is totally fine. Just thinking about getting the mattress first is a great opportunity. All right, so let’s move onto the drawers in the front if you have like all the cabinets and the drawers and whatever you put your stuff in take it up, then I think that this little space in the front right here is the best place to put it, and if you don’t put anything in there that’s fine, but you can if you want, if there is no space in your cabinet drawers. All right, so let’s move onto the final thing if you do want curtains, just be warned that they might not come with those if you want bows then make sure that you get them. Now, that is not a pretty big warning, but some people take it pretty seriously just because they don’t want anything getting in the way of their face so they’re they block out the curtains to look. I say it would look pretty nice, like I would think it looks pretty nice without the bows. It’s pretty cute too, just when you go inside it’s not that cute but when you lay down inside and your warm breath fills it up like if you don’t have the bows, it fills it up and then you get a really warm feeling inside the curtains so yeah I think that is my favorite reason why I got this bed. My three kiddos are super excited about their new bunkbed! It took my husband, son, and I three hours to put it together but the pictures in the directions were straight forward. We did have to take two parts apart and reassemble them as I missed the direction they had to be facing in order to attach pieces in later steps. I put a soft bath math with a grippy bottom at the foot of the ladder and tucked it under the mattresses on either side to prevent direct falls onto the lower bedframes. The storage space on the top bunk is great for storing a good amount of toys and stuffed animals; the storage drawers between the beds on the bottom are nice for smaller items. I am beyond impressed with this loft bed setup! The combination of the heavy-duty metal frame and the wood desk and cabinets makes it incredibly sturdy with zero wobbling. It perfectly maximizes room space by combining a comfortable sleeping area with a full workstation and built-in storage.
