We have converted our garage into a “hang out” spot with a pool table and karaoke machine etc. We love hanging out in there. Unfortunately, it is not connected with our central heat/air system. We did have a smaller window a/c unit that was just ok, but this one is a game-changer! It has a/c AND heat! Year-round comfort! It’s powerful enough to cool our entire garage (and we live in the South-so it definitely has its work cut out for it). The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. We love it! The remote is handy and the timer feature is awesome. It is well-made and the as easy to install. We had to order a sleeve to slide it into, but it was very simple. This tub arrived quickly and without a scratch. It is well-made with quality materials and finish. I can sit comfortably and stretch out my legs. I’m 5’9”. Note that it requires 3 separate gfi plugs. Optimally this would be on a platform with plugs underneath. There is no access panel or spot to run cords thru. Mine was dropped into the basement. Because it has a faucet and not a tub filler, it takes quite some time to fill.Before you turn on the pumps, make sure they are at their lowest setting. If not, they will throw water EVERYWHERE! And if the tub is too full - even with settings as low as possible - the water bubbles over the sides. The jets are so strong that it’s difficult to relax with them on. It doesn’t help that the light flashes thru its colors quickly and there’s no way to turn it down or off. Hope I grow to tolerate it better.. Anonymous. Fri Feb 13 2026
