That being said, I sent photos and info to an industrial electrician and he was impressed with its compact size and quality. If I find a way to use it, I’ll update. These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter. Great for garages and other fixtures which allow the extra space for the larger height and width of of these bulbs. I pictured a (not included) adapter, as well as one of these bulbs in use with the adapter in a residential garage standard ceiling light fixture. These are great multi purpose bulbs!. Kory. MN. Solid and assembly was straight forward. However, we had a very difficult time attaching one wall because the hardware was recessed deeply in the wood. This made it so the male end was unable to reach the female end. We had to remove hardware and add small shims to push hardware out.
