Wellsville Wren House Home Bazaar Hba1005s

Give wrens in your backyard a comfortable and safe shelter with this Coveside Hanging Wren House. Wrens, unlike most other birds, do not mind the gentle motion of a hanging bird house, making this compact, suspended shelter an ideal dwelling for these small feathered friends. This handsome nest box is sustainably harvested and constructed from old eastern pine to create a striking and environmentally friendly item, and the 1" entryway allows easy access for wrens while keeping out larger birds and other predators. The abode sports drainage holes in the bottom corners to keep the nest dry and clean, while a ventilation slot situated beneath the pitched roof line maintains the house at an optimal temperature. The rough hewn wood lends fledglings a safe and secure foothold for when it's time to climb out and leave the nest, and the lack of a perch near the hole further discourages predation. One side of the nest box opens easily for observation and seasonal maintenance, while the included hanging chain lets you showcase this charming dwelling in your bird sanctuary with ease.

Very nice wren house. I am very pleased with it. I especially am happy that I can take the screws out in the back out and clean it thoroughly at the end of the season. I am looking forward to using it next season.. Judy. Plymouth, WI. Wed Aug 19 2026

Dovecotes are specially designed structures intended to house pigeons or doves. Throughout history, the possession of a dovecote has been a traditional symbol of status and power. In Medieval Europe, only nobles had the right to own dovecotes, but today, Home Bazaar's adaptation of an English dovecote can become the focal point of your garden. The fully functional six-sided birdhouse is divided into six separate compartments with a removable base for cleaning. A pine-shingled roof completes the design.

The fabulous Hotel California is now available as the third in our line of Purple Martin birdhouses. This ten-room, fully functional birdhouse is inspired by the main pavilion of the iconic Del Coronado Hotel. A San Diego landmark, the'' Del'' has welcomed presidents, royalty, and Hollywood celebrities for over 100 years. Home Bazaar's dramatic Victorian design with its signature red roof and peek-a-boo dormers is topped off with a cupola proudly flying an American flag. This house comes equipped with a mounting base with a sleeve for setting on top of a standard 4 x 4 base. This large-format, 12 cavity Bird in Hand Series Lancaster Barn 25 in x 22 in x 25 in Purple Martin House comes directly from the Amish country and is made from reclaimed and recycled materials probably from an original barn in the area. In the eastern portion of the United States, Purple martins rarely nest in natural cavities instead they nest almost exclusively in man-made housing. Invite the fun antics and pleasing melodies of house wrens into your backyard garden with the Coveside House Wren Bird House. These active songbirds grace your yard with their songs throughout the day, and remain busy creating a multitude of nests, with females deciding the nest they like best and roosting there. This home offers the perfect shelter for these small, feathered friends, with its slanted roof featuring a significant overhang to protect the interior of the house from precipitation, while ventilation slots on either side of the roof keep the interior temperature regulated and comfortable. Angled corners on the base of the home offer drainage, and the 1" diameter entry hole lends fabulous protection for wrens within the roost, preventing larger birds and predators from accessing the cavity. The durable, rough hewn pine construction allows nestlings to garner a secure grip when they are exiting the nest, and one side panel lifts upward for easy cleaning and regular nest checks. The 0.75" thick wood aids in insulating the home, with the light tone of the unfinished pine keeping it cool throughout hotter summer months. This wonderful shelter will age to a graceful gray hue over time and with exposure to the elements, enhancing its natural beauty and offering a unique appearance as time passes, and a metal hanger at the top of the item and predrilled hole near the base allow it to be post or tree mounted with ease.

I live in a little ornate Victorian here in Eureka, CA, Zone 9b. So I was surprised to find this wonderful Victorian birdhouse on Wayfair. I'm 78 and arthritic, so I'll have to find a nice young helper to put it up on a tall post, but it will spotlight the historic nature of Old Town and its detailed Victorian architecture. My house and garden will be on Eureka Heritage Society's Annual Home and Garden Tour in June of 2027, and my recent Wayfair purchases will draw folks to the back corner bird sanctuary designed by Wayfair sellers of birdhouses, birdbaths, bird feeders, wind chimes, and weather vanes.
