Replacing another Eagle that blew away in a storm. Did a lot of research, ended with this weathervane. It is a classic but, it doesn’t seem to be so ostentatious. Liked the design better of the next size up, but thought it might be too large (tall) for my copula. It’s winter, so I have not climbed up to install it yet. Quality cupola! I installed this on a backyard shed that has a ridge vent. I cut the ridge vent as recommended in the installation instructions - a bit nerve-racking, but it turned out fine. This shed was super easy to assemble. I am a 5' 3" 67 year old female and it took me an hour and 45 minutes to complete. Approximately 15 minutes of that was sorting and verifying parts. The instructions suggested two people to assemble floor, and that probably would have helped, but I was able to do it myself. My foundation was already in place. Getting the sides to slide into the slots properly required a rubber mallet. Finished product holds my self-propelled snow blower and my Snow Joe battery operated snow blower with extra room.. Terry.
