My family ribs me endlessly over my precious sink! It was shipped in the Arc of the Covenant. We had to use an engine hoist outfitted with a support bar to move the piece into position. It came with brackets and parts to hang on the wall, but at 400 pounds, the wall would have had to have been designed with this in mind. Instead, I did a Frankenstein bit to a thrift store oak kitchen table. We built a box out from the wall for plumbing access. Still working on getting the correct pipes and equipment, but I will have my sink eventually! Note for those looking: PLAN! It's ridiculously heavy, but oh so pretty. i have to admit i had no idea what to expect. Truly i just thought these would be some cheap light weight metal brackets. they were delivered very quickly. I went to pick up the box off the patio... again, thinking these were probably some cheap light weight metal brackets, but the box was heavy! quite heavy. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. In celebration of Nantucket Sinks 20th Anniversary, we've created this 33-Inch farmhouse fireclay sink with scroll-work design apron front. Made and hand finished in Italy, each sink is unique. The design's blue hues are meant to evoke the feeling of the sea and all things nautical - ideal for a coastal inspired kitchen. The drain is centered and a logo on the interior right side of the basin. . There are many benefits to fireclay. It is eco-friendly requiring less cleansers. . Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to .5".
