Received the GE 65gallon water heater with flexcapacity today (240v model). I did the installation by myself however the GE water heater is heavy. Luckily i got some help from my friend to set the water heater heater in place. HPWH is easy to use and consume little power. Not very noisy, can't hear it in house, but definitely would bother me if my office were in the garage. Keeps water warm overnight without using any power (or very very little). Concern is the durability of the anode rod - within two weeks, it is down to 98%. So far I do like this it does make the water taste a lot better. Its not quite as cold as I would like I have a 32 oz water bottle and Im about halfway of filling it the water gets warm since its refilling the tank as it goes, but some ice cubes would fix that. I’m 75 so this thing is a bit hard for me. I didn’t realize the compartment for clean water and used water were in the back. It’s heavy to turn around for me and lifting the water is difficult. You must wash the whole thing every week. My sink is high, newer apt, I’m 4 11” and that’s lifting at chest level. I think for younger folks it’d be great but when it’s done cleaning the water there is about a days worth for me. Otherwise for what it is it’s great! It does take up one counter at my apt. I’ve had the six stage model RCC7P – AK for about a year. I’m just now doing my first filter change, all, but the RO Membrane. I have a bit of an unconventional installation. My system is about 20 feet from the water supply in the sink drain. I’ve had it installed on the floor. But for this filter change, I mounted it to the wall about 12 inches above the floor with support under the filters. That will make future filter changes much easier in the future. Couldn’t be happier with the system. Great system, great tasting water with very effective filtering. It doesn't take up room underneath the cabinet either. *There's a crimp piece required. The metal one didn't fit properly, and they provided a plastic one also which worked, but barely..
