Warning to potential buyers!!!!: do not waste your money on this vanity. The quality is extremely poor and the product appears cheaply made and defective. The power cord arrived torn/ripped and could not even be plugged in, which is a serious safety issue. The mirror hinges were installed incorrectly, so the mirror cannot sit straight or secure properly. There were also missing/not enough sliding tracks included for proper assembly and function. The plywood pieces were cut unevenly and crooked, making the entire vanity unstable and uneven. On top of that, the false drawer/seat is not sturdy enough to safely support normal adult weight — it could not properly support 115 lbs. For the price, this product is unacceptable. The materials feel flimsy, poorly constructed, and rushed through manufacturing. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere because this vanity was a complete disappointment!!!. Jennifer. Beautiful vanity!!! 2 NEGATIVES: 1. the lights on the mirror aren’t very strong. Luckily where I moved it to has great natural light. 2. There are two cords for this vanity. One for the actual vanity and one for the mirror. I don’t feel like the photos accurately showed how the cord to the mirror looked. It is very visible and I feel like it should have had a slot to put the cord through the vanity. Maybe they did this so if you don’t want to use the mirror you could convert it to a desk or something but I had to wrap the cord for it to look better and prevent my cat from chewing. I didn’t lower my rating because this is One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made. It really elevates the room. I love putting on my makeup at it. Nice fit for my small space. The instructions are fairly straight forward, only a couple of confusing spots. The quality is mixed. It came out of the box with some scratches. There are spots where the hardware took the finish off even tho we were careful. I used a paint pen to cover it up. It took 2 of us about 4 hours to put it together and we are pretty skilled at assembling things. Recommend using power tools. If you used the hand tools included, it will probably take longer to assemble. Also recommend placing a couple of self sticking felt pads where the top closes on the cabinet. The unit moves a bit when opening and closing the side drawer. I popped a pool noodle behind it until I figure how to keep it more stable. Things I mentioned here are pretty minor IMO. Very nice makeup vanity. Perfect size for my closet. Picture makes it look small but it’s actually a great size. I’m female, 69, and it took me 3 hours to put it together. Its great, it fits my small space. I really like that it has the chargable motion detector lights inside cabinent. My biggest issue was the packaging it came in a wooden crate that was difficult to open and needed to use my hammer to pry the sides open.
