I would give a 10 if I could. I have a bad back and so finding a chair that is comfortable for both short and long periods of time is crucial. This chair is amazing! It hugs just right at the bottom of the shoulder blades and but is designed with a slight flair so as you recline a bit it to adjusts to hold your back without you feeling stiff or in a position that isn’t real. That said… once it finally came together It’s actually a beautiful, sturdy piece. The warm wood tone is rich in person, the drop-leaf function is perfect for smaller spaces, and the hidden storage cane-front detail give it a surprisingly upscale look for the price point. Chairs feel solid and the compact design works well in apartments, breakfast nooks, or multipurpose rooms. A few notes * Instructions could be MUCH clearer. * Expect this to be a project, not a quick 30-minute setup. * Some alignment takes finesse and probably two people. * Final product is worth it if you can survive the journey.
