Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. The Wetstyle Feel shower base is perfect. It is a soft white with a beautiful, somewhat matt (not shiny) finish that provides sure footing and the look of stone. We use a ceiling mounted shower curtain rather than a glass door to maintain an open look in a small bathroom. In our case, there was a bit of splash outside the shower pan with, possible due to the pan's slope. Our solution is to install a small quartz barrier (like a threshold).
