Bulbs are well packed to prevent breakage. Each bulb is in an individual box in the 4-pack. Only reason I knocked off one star is that one bulb in the 4-pack didn't work. It can happen with any product, so no big deal, but it wasn't easy getting a replacement bulb. I ended up ordering a second 4-pack, making sure I had 4 bulbs that worked, then returning the second 4-pack with the bad bulb. Once I got all 4 bulbs working, they're really bright and very nice.
