The locksmith came to install the lock and we discovered that two of the four batteries that came with the unit were dead. I called Wayfair's great customer service folks, who are sending out four fresh batteries. Normally this would not be an issue but I have never seen these batteries before. They are CR 123A 3V lithium batteries. In researching these, the internet says the batteries should have a 10-year shelf life, I don't know why they would be dead. The lock seems sturdy and very well made. I have three other keypad locks that take AA batteries and I am constantly replacing them. When I get power on the lock I will update my review.. Brenda. Now I don't think robot vacuums will always be 100% perfect but this is pretty good, I think it's quiet, I can use my phone to navigate, pick a room and it'll go there ,mop or vacuum. When max is on hardwood mopping and senses rug, his mop pads lift up and go onto carpet, it senses stairs and has mapped my entire upstairs, it reads the room pretty good and gets all that dust and hairs that blow around every day using his swing out spinning arm grabbing anything in its path, he doesn't like to eat cords, so you might want to move them out of way or he'll get tangled. You can use app to x out that spot were cords are, the mop solution smells so good, battery lasts a while, when he needs to refill he heads back into his machine, refill and empties on his own, i love using him every day.
