I had a hard time finding a gold finish to match my existing plumbing’s gold finish from the 1990s, but this was a pretty good match. I would describe this gold tone as a slightly muted gold, softer, not so shiny and yellow as my 1990s existing plumbing. Anyway, it worked for my aesthetic and the functionality is great. The first time I exchanged the unit where I purchased it. Now it's happened to the second unit and I read that it has happened to others. I fear that there will be no end to this.
