I picked these stone veneers as they were neutral colored. I went back and painted a light white over the veneers and sponged the paint in. Added a wood frame and indirect lighting. Love the wall and am so happy with the overall look. I ordered 16 veneers in all so four packages. I laid them all out on the floor first to get a pattern that flowed. The veneers don’t all lay flat so I used a wood frame behind them and attached them to the frame with Brad nails. Easy to attach to frame and with the nails and you can pull them off and adjust if need be. Very easy to work with. I even had to cut 5” off the bottom row and super easy to cut with jigsaw. Easy to install, product is intuitive, and lighting on knobs/under unit are awesome. One element that is lacking is the back hi g design. This unit is designed to be built in, and as such costs 4x what a normal Blackstone unit does. The hinge configuration creates a gap on the back edge which is not an ideal transition to your top. Back hinge placement also causes the front of the lid to wobble a bit when opening and closing. Small detail but big one when building a high end outdoor kitchen.
