I got this for my Maltese he is 11 pounds and this was the perfect size for him. He has plenty of room to sleep in here. It was easy to setup and like that it’s a matte black. This is a beautiful crate. Perfect size for my 15 pound dog. It's obviously so much nicer than a traditional metal crate. This 12 panel pen, was extremely easy to assemble, but it was a bit heavy and hard for me to move the box by myself. It’s all metal, has a door for easy access. I have two senior dogs and it gets cold here in the Northeast. The cover on this pet heating pad is so soft and it is removable and can be machine washed. There is a timer setting and the temperature range is from 61-69. The instructions say different temperatures but the ones I mentioned are the ones on the remote. I do like that the cord is protected with a casing around it, my dogs are not chewers but this is a nice feature for the ones that are. I have two smaller dogs so they both fit on this pad. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas.
