Appears to be relatively heavy-duty and well made. It is certainly long enough to serve as we expected for our old fat beagle to use to get up into my truck, on the couch and possibly onto the bed again. Rocky has arthritis in his hips and we do a lot of lifting of his aft end to get him up the back steps, into the truck and onto the couch. The ramp is long enough to make the grade favorable and not so steep he cannot negotiate most "climbs" as needed. The ramp is very compact when collapsed, yet quite strong when extended for use. HOWEVER... while the item is in new condition, I was sent a returned product and paid full price instead of out of the box price. In my photos I'm including the printed email return form that was included within the bottom of the fully enclosed box. I am not James and this order was placed May 19 not May 11, James paid $125.99 and I paid $122.33 at what was listed as NEW and not out of box. There was also no printed assembly instruction within, which yay for trees, but just provides further proof that I was sent a returned out of box item. My order ends in 715, James order ends in 605. I don't have the time window to return it for my needs and that's just bad for the environment, but Wayfair should make this right. I got this for my Maltese he is 11 pounds and this was the perfect size for him. He has plenty of room to sleep in here. It was easy to setup and like that it’s a matte black. This carrier was a life saver when I was moving with 2 very skittish cats. I had to take them on a ferry and a 6 hour car ride and this carrier was large enough to fit a small letterbox in there with them and I did not have to open the crate until we were safely in our new space. This is a great piece! It was a little bit of a challenge to put together (I mixed a few steps up). Between my husband and I we figured it out though. Great Pyrenees puppy (7 mos old) for size reference. It fits her comfortably. It has several options like a spinning foodwater dish (we didn’t install the food bowls because the baby would eat the dog food). But conceptually it’s nice to be able to crate and feed as needed. It also has three sides that open including an attractive sliding door and two ends that fully open. As you can see, the top serves as a changing station for us but could have multiple uses.
