It is obvious that they missed an important step in the instructions regarding spring loaded latches for the inside of the left front gate. This is eye catching. It is a nice edition to my bed room where I was able to find a matching nightstand, and the dog crate for the other side of the bed. It was easy to put together and there were extra parts in case one was lost or not functional. The cage itself is not made for a dog that does not want to be in it. There is no metal on the inside, It is easy to use and my dog (miniature pincher) has ample room to stretch out or lay on his side. I am pleased with the purchase. It arrived in a box that was dented and broken (not the senders fault most likely the delivery co) BUT because the sender packs it tightly with lots of Styrofoam there was NO damage to any of the parts.
