While this seems well constructed for having just received it yesterday and not yet using it. My cats were both exploring inside which was reassuring to me. Not pictured is the floor mat within, though I am still getting a crate pad or something because there is no cushion. This was easy to setup and seems it will be easy to break down for storage. HOWEVER... while the item is in new condition, I was sent a returned product and paid full price instead of out of the box price. In my photos I'm including the printed email return form that was included within the bottom of the fully enclosed box. I am not James and this order was placed May 19 not May 11, James paid $125.99 and I paid $122.33 at what was listed as NEW and not out of box. There was also no printed assembly instruction within, which yay for trees, but just provides further proof that I was sent a returned out of box item. My order ends in 715, James order ends in 605. I don't have the time window to return it for my needs and that's just bad for the environment, but Wayfair should make this right. This bed is OK - good but not great. The cover is made from a nice soft comfortable fabric and seems well-made, with good even stitching. It has a zipper so it can go in the washer too. There's no non-skid backing, and it's so lightweight you can expect it to slide around, but that means you can flip it over and have a new "top" if normal wear & tear starts to show. The padding is the same poly-fill that you find in medium priced human bed pillows. This filling will inevitably flatten and "bunch" over time, and I don't recommend it for older dogs or those with arthritis. Or, heavy dogs who will flatten it quickly. It's made with baffles running within the interior of the padding to combat "bunching", but, because they're not offset, they create breaks in the pad. There is access to the padding via a zipper, allowing you to go in and "fluff" occasionally, so you do have some control. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas. I purchased the small size pet bed for my 13 year old Shih Tzu. He had ruined both of his pet beds and we were in desperate need for a new one. As soon as we put this bed together he cuddled up into the bed right away. The material is high quality and the padding/cushions are as well. I love the fact that the cover is removable so we can wash it as necessary. The only negative thing that I have to say is that I wish the bed did not come in so many pieces.. Gabrielle. New York.
