This piece is much sturdier and heavier than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise once it was fully assembled. The overall quality feels solid and stable, and it definitely does not come across as flimsy or cheaply made. That said, the assembly process was far more difficult than it should have been. The instructions were not very clear, and none of the parts were labeled, which made the setup frustrating and time consuming. It ended up taking close to three hours to put together because of all the guesswork involved. One corner on the top section also did not line up perfectly, so that particular screw could not be tightened completely. Thankfully, it still seems stable overall, but the alignment issue was disappointing considering the amount of effort required to assemble it. Another thing buyers should know is that this item is extremely large once completed. I would strongly recommend assembling it inside the room where it will be used, because moving it afterward may be difficult. While this seems well constructed for having just received it yesterday and not yet using it. My cats were both exploring inside which was reassuring to me. HOWEVER... while the item is in new condition, I was sent a returned product and paid full price instead of out of the box price. In my photos I'm including the printed email return form that was included within the bottom of the fully enclosed box. I am not James and this order was placed May 19 not May 11, James paid $125.99 and I paid $122.33 at what was listed as NEW and not out of box. There was also no printed assembly instruction within, which yay for trees, but just provides further proof that I was sent a returned out of box item. My order ends in 715, James order ends in 605. I don't have the time window to return it for my needs and that's just bad for the environment, but Wayfair should make this right. This is the Extra Extra Large size It’s very secure once assembled with the bolts and wingnuts, and clamps, that enclose the perimeter of the crate. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas.
