This is the most beautiful stunning carpet that I have ever purchased. The colors of blue and black make the room look beautiful! There is one spot on the carpet that is a huge white spot. I thought it was a defect but it actually is part of the 'design' as shown in the photo. I personally didn't like it so I turned the rug so that the end with the spot is in an unseen spot. Other than that, the carpet arrived undamaged and rolled out without any ripples. The carpet is well made and plush. I had to tape down two corners for a few days to flatten the ends and then it laid down perfectly. NO ODORS whatsoever which is also a plus!! Do not hesitate to purchase this beauty!! This rug worked out just right in our dining room and coordinates well with the fabric on our chairs, wall color and window treatments. The color varies throughout the rug, so each side/end is not identical. It gives it a more vintage feel. The colors are golden/rust/cream/super dark blue/hints of green. It is NOT a soft rug, there is no pile at all. It feels more like sisal or jute....firm fibers. Again this works perfect for us in a dining room so the chairs can more easily move. Our previous rug had more pile and it was super difficult to move the heavy chairs. Packaging was perfect, they rolled the rug on a giant super heavy duty cardboard roll. I was able to get this on sale for around $105, which I think is a great value. At the current ~$200 price point, I personally wouldn’t repurchase. The rug itself is very pretty — the colors are vibrant and give that vintage, high-end look. It’s a printed, low-pile rug, so don’t expect it to be soft or plush underfoot. It lays fairly flat, but you’ll definitely want a rug pad or some heavier furniture on it to keep it from sliding around.
