Make sure to check the description for assembly instructions, as they do not come printed with the product. Also, there is a plastic plug (see photo) that is zip tied to the top of the lift. Make sure to cut this off before assembling. This step is not included in the assembly instructions and I didn’t realize the plug was there until I had assembled the first desk and saw that the lift didn’t work. I, at first, thought the lift was defective but realized the issue when assembling the second desk. I had to partially take apart the first one to cut the plug out.
