The drawers are spacious and glide smoothly, giving me plenty of room to organize everything without clutter. I initially planned to purchase a cabinet for all the extra supplies and paperwork I had but everything bits so nicely in this desk and on the shelves enabling me to keep everything close and eliminating the need for an additional cabinet. I had to wait two months for this desk to be delivered. When it was delivered, it was delivered in three giant boxes encased in wooden pallets and as an extra treat, they sent it without the instruction manual. While my home installation guy was on the phone trying to get the manual emailed to him (which turned out to take two additional days), we discovered that the drawers are simple wooden boxes without any tracks or racks to support them when they open. So, they fall out when you open them. I have never returned a piece of furniture before. It was a lot of trouble to package it back up, but the drawers were a deal breaker. This is NOT an executive desk. I never thought I needed to confirm that drawers come with a track on them so they stay up when you open them or to confirm it would come with instructions.
