This range hood is high quality. I bought a cheaper version a few years ago for my old house. I liked it, but now that I have this I can see where the cheaper one was lacking. This range hood is thicker steel that wont dent as easily. The oil tray is steel, the baffle filters feel commercial grade, the large duct size really moves a lot of air. I am glad I spent the money. Its loud but quieter than the old one. Relatively quiet for the amount of air it moves. The instructions are good, mounting is easy and secure. Impressive model! I haven't even removed it from the packaging as yet. I am a woodworker and planning to construct a case for it as I did for the Independence, a model I finished this year. Only question I have is about the masts when first received. Upon opening the top of the shipping box I remember all the sails were 90 degrees to the hull. Now after 2 days, all the sails are 30 degrees to the left. I included a shot looking down at the model. I was interested to know if others have noticed this or am I mistaken? Also found this after unpacking (see picture) of rear mast warped at top. What a nice looking set! I’ve been looking for a new set of kitchen knives for some time now and came across these. I had planned to surprise my husband with them for Christmas but once I received them I knew I couldn’t wait that long! It comes with almost any knife needed and let me say they are super sharp! So much in fact my husband gave himself a little cut when putting them all in place. The overall holder is a little larger than I would have wanted as it takes up just a little more counter space than our old one, but not a deal breaker. I only took a photo of a few knives vs laying them all out, but you can still see the sharpness and quality. They are not lightweight but not heavy, just right!
