Looks beautiful and very heavy. All metal parts as far as I can tell. Showerhead is much more heavy duty than it looks and the slider valve moves very smoothly and seamlessly. Have yet to install, but I'm pretty happy with this purchase. I was debating buying a much higher end set, but this looks very similar and seems to be of good quality, so I'm happy with my choice. Lord Cumberland had this throne built for his royal guestroom. Not knowing whether his visitors would be kings or queens, he had both likenesses carved into the spindles and regal lion heads carved roaring from the arm rests. The matching wooden footstool has the same quality, hand-tacked leather cushion and deeply carved Georgian details as the wide throne. These replicas take over a day to hand carve.
