This item helped us clear up all the clutter in the living room with its drawers and hidden electric plugs. I wish there was an option for shorter legs so it would work better as an end table in the living room. It's too tall by 4 inches. Also, keep in mind that if you have a home with a great room concept, these backs are an eyesore. We had some electric cord covers left over from setting up our reclining couch that we used on the backs of the end tables to cover the ugly big black cord hanging down the back side of the cabinet. I purchased the black table. Very nice end table for the price. Really like the way it looks once it was all put together. Wood grain texture on the top sets it off. The doors slide in a groove at the top & bottom to open & close, no hardware. They are a little tight to slide but I have only had it a few days so they may loosen up with time.. Vicki. Newton, IL. I purchased two nightstands and overall am happy with them. The main reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the color was NOT at all similar to what was pictured online. They are very sturdy and arrived almost fully assembled—all I had to do was attach the feet and install the drawer knobs.
