Y’all, I’ve had this shoe cabinet 4 years! Sadly, one of the top slats broke off during a cross-country move, but other than that, it’s held up great. One of the things I love most about this cabinet is the capacity. We are a family of nine and have a lot of shoes in our entryway, but this cabinet gives them all a place to live and keeps the area organized. It even fits my son’s size 13 shoes. I also appreciate the wooden slats, which allow the shoes to air out between uses instead of being completely closed in. Great little cabinet for the price! It looks beautiful once assembled and feels like a quality piece. The parts are clearly labeled, but the instructions could be better. The biggest challenge was the very first panel—the directions don’t clearly show which side should face outward, and that took the longest to figure out. Assembly took me about 3.5 hours. I also agree with other reviewers that adjusting the doors is difficult, and mine still don’t align perfectly. This product was a great solution for storing shoes in my last apartment. Nice design kept them organized, as well as hidden away and an attractive piece of furniture. There is a trick to getting the doors to close. You can install the doors one further hole forward to gain a half inch of space so that larger size shoes will allow the doors to close.
