Being the first review is scary. Where to start. First - the desk is beautiful and just what I wanted for the office. Good, solid material that came packaged very well and undamaged. Worthy of 5 stars. But, second - the shipping company was awful and asked me to come in at 7am because I would be the first delivery of the day. Annoying, but whatever. They didn't show up until 4pm that day. Third - the instructions are clearly from outside this country...which isn't a big deal as long as they are clear and accurate...they were neither. Mislabelled parts in the manual, one entire instruction manual for the desk wasn't included (or was never made) and then there were several steps where I realized "I should have been told to do this 5 steps ago". There were multiple broken pieces from the connecting points. There were no instructions at all. Even though the manufacturer’s website says there is no assembly required for this product, you have to screw the pieces together in the proper orientation, which takes a little experimentation to figure out. I did end up keeping the product as the broken pieces were not visible and the screws held the pieces in place, despite the broken pieces.
