This is a pretty decent, small form pc desk. I probably should have got the large sized one. The packaging was perfect, no damage, and everything was there. Its a sturdy design, my only negative comment is in regard to the lower rear right side shelf. It was implied it was a shelf for your pc case to sit on. I have an old style full tower case that does not comfortably sit on this shelf without hanging over the edge. I made it work, but it needs to be like 50% larger to accommodate the newer 2 compartment style cases. Other than that, I like it. Looks good, sturdy build, no defects. I DO recommend the desk as long as you can accept the "CONS" I list. CONS; 1. IMPORTANT, The ledge is not wide enough to safely/securely place the stand of larger monitors. Unless you use a monitor arm I would not recommend this desk if you use anything above a 24" external monitor. 2. The 20" depth might be just a little too short if you are using a laptop with the lid open and an external monitor placed on the desk or ledge. 3. LEDs are not nearly as bright as pictures show. SO-SO The soft side drawers work but not something to brag about. I expected this so wasn't surprised. PROs I'm impressed at how sturdy it is for a light weight desk. Assembly was fairly straight forward as were the instructions that are pretty well written. Everything fit together well and assembly took less than 2 hours with two people. Finals thoughts. If you are using an external monitor I would suggest you consider NOT installing the ledge and use a monitor arm to get the most useable desk space. I did keep the ledge but might remove it later.. I don’t need it nor do I mind not having it, but it does disappoint me to know part of the price of the desk was for that feature. Haven’t reached out to pursue partial refund, but that’s ok!. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because We ordered 2 of these desks, both desks have cosmetic damage to them, 1 of the boxes came busted and that one had a lot more damage than the other. 1 desk, the bottom drawer won’t shut properly and I have to slam it closed on an angle for it to fully close, which is annoying.
