Blue and white porcelain has been an inspiration for beautiful textiles for hundreds of years and every generation finds a way to make that inspiration look new and fresh. Laura Ashley's Charlotte ensemble proves the timeless appeal of this look for the 21st-century bedroom. The centerpiece of the collection is an elegant "tree of life" print that appears on the standard shams and comforter where it is framed by an intricate double border pieced on the outer edges. Sheets are an elegant white-on-white damask and embroidered European shams and decorative pillows add interest and decorator - style.

Oh this comforter set is even lovelier in person than the photos show! Firstly, I was delighted to find a matching, blue, print dust ruffle in the package. The dust ruffle does not slide like others do! It stays in place due to the fabric that goes under your mattress. The comforter is nice and puffy and the print looks really nice. One thing you should know is that the set comes slightly shrunk-wrapped and quite wrinkly. I popped the items in the dryer on medium heat for 20 minutes to remove most of the wrinkles. A steamer would work fantastic. I did have to iron the dust ruffle and the 2 pillow shams with steam before putting it on the bed. Not a deal breaker! I highly recommend this set.. Seattlemammamia. This is a beautiful chest of drawers, no doubt! However, it took my husband 5 hours to assemble and the top right drawer does stick a bit. There is no way to fix the issue other than to slightly push down on the drawer when placing it back into the chest. It is not a big deal and it will be fine in my bedroom. The drawers are good side and it is not too tall, so it will fit nicely under my seashell wall display. I love the color for my blue ocean themed bedroom, with the shell handles.
