The chairs sit lower to the ground, which I love at 5’5”, and my 5’10” husband also finds them very comfortable. I would say they’re best suited for small to midsize people. The only drawback is that you can’t sit fully upright with the footrest elevated. That said, they’re so comfortable and attractive that I’m happy to overlook this and simply recline and relax. The Stana sofa has leather which is of excellent quality. The sofa, itself, is classically beautiful and of superior workmanship. My only concern with the sofa is its above average height. This chair is sporting some very deep tufting on the dark leather. Take a look at the turned legs. They added castors on the front legs and jute to the outside back. Pure Aniline top-grade cow leather. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight/heat some color variation is common and acceptable on vintage leather.
