This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. We've been GE appliance users for 30+ years and always been satisfied. Our last GE stove had a smooth ceramic cooktop which cleaned easily, never scratched, and looked as good when we moved as it did when we first bought it. Jump ahead to the present, when we bought all new stainless GE appliances for our new home...and I HATE the cooktop! Within nine months there are significant scratches and what seem to be permanent stains, despite taking all the required precautions, having the appropriate cook wear, and using the recommended/provided cleanser and cleaning procedures. I don't know how the quality of the cooktop materials could have changed so much in the course of a few years, but I'm very unhappy with the current version. An appliance designed with such a fragile work surface doesn't make sense for a functioning family kitchen.
