It was easy to add this fan to a location where a porch light was no longer needed. I purchased a 3 way switch and connected inside so that we can change the speed with a wall switch. It is very comparable in sound and pressure to the same desk top fan that I use in my bedroom. Really love our new fan! I’ve been eyeing it for months and finally went for it and I’m so glad I did! Easy to install, great additional lighting, and the fan is small but powerful. I really love how unique it is. The fan blade actually comes off super easy for cleaning, there’s a little cap that unscrews and the blade (1 pc) comes off. This is a great fan! It is rechargeable and it holds the charge for quite some time. I used it for three hours by the pool with no problem. It had three speeds and can easily be mounted to anything using the flexible arms. The top portion also rotates so you can change the angle to any direction.
