We live in a condo so the kitchen doesn't have a ventilation system for the stove. This air recirculating vent system was what we needed. It is unobtrusive, it has multiple speeds and a light, and it comes with a remote control. This purchase was a bad choice. For one, it DOES NOT come with the chimney piece! Wayfair referred me to the manufacture to purchase that piece for an additional $250 but it wasn't available to ship until January 2019!
