This is a beautiful gazebo. The instructions are in pictures so if you need words for direction you are out of luck. It took my husband and I a total of 24 hours to put it together and he is a mechanic. The total time was partially because of our unusual placement in which the gazebo extends further than our patio space. Also, we secured the front posts in an unconventional manner by placing them in large pots which were then filled with heavy materials. There are what seems like millions of screws and other pieces. There were quite a few "disagreements" while assembling this item which was entertaining for the neighbors. We both agreed that if anyone ever asks us to help them build a gazebo we will politely decline. All parts were present but we made sure of this prior to starting the build. There were a few times that we could have used the help of another person when building the frame but stepladders helped immensely. Worked out perfectly. While I have a smaller one in my backyard. I decided to get a larger one to act as a car port for two cars on my side driveway. I can even fit my full size SUV GL550 sitting on larger 22in wheels. I added a motion light to the interior roof, powered by a solar panel mounted on the exterior. We ordered this canopy because its 12x12 as opposed to the normal 10x10 that is available at your local big box store or sporting goods store... the blue stores lol. We like that it has an enclosure because it will be perfect for winter cigar smoking. However, upon putting it together, the 4 side panels are difficult to line up and it would take quite some time and adjustment to actually seal the corners and keep cold air out. I dont think we will end up using it for the originally intended purpose after all. The one push easy up is pretty nice. Its far more user friendly as a shade structure than the ones from the blue guys. The frame itself is bowed a bit in the top support structure, indicating that the pieces dont quite fit right.
