The middle section does not fit tight on the bottom section, therefore it leans. I have attached photos to show you the damage to the middle section shaft that goes into the bottom section. I don't know if that ring is supposed to be that way, but I feel if it was around the entire shaft it would have fit tighter. Also, is that shaft supposed to be bent in like that? That too would make since that it doesn't fit snug and it leans away from the bent part. The only reason I’m getting rid of it now is because my cats unfortunately tore up the sides despite my attempts to protect it. Lesson learned — I also wish I had purchased the insurance. One thing to note is that liquids can seep through the fabric. When my cat had an accident, some of it went through even though I cleaned it quickly. Also, removing the cushion covers from the back of the pillows can be a bit difficult. Overall, I really did enjoy this couch and would buy it again if I didn’t have cats.
