I have this rug in several sizes though out my house. It is fairly think and well made. The runners and small round one I have do not really shed and have held up great. This rug is great for taking the cold chill off a tile floor. It is well made. We have furniture setting on two corners so the rug would not move. I would suggest a non-skid pad on a hard surface just to prevent sliding if there is no furniture on it. The edges are sewn well so the rug lays very flat on the edges. We were concerned about a rug being a tripping hazard but this rug does not because it lays very flat. I have spent thousands at Way fair and these rugs are expensive cheap junk! I expected so much better from Wayfair. Problem is I am now stuck With them. The packaging has been thrown away and I would have to pay someone to come in to roll them up and move them to porch for pickup to return. I'm a senior city and can't do this myself. What a mistake.
