Lighting does make it hard, but I wish ALL rug places could give better pictures of color or IDEALLY a small sample as that is what made ordering SO DIFFICULT as who wants to bother with returning!! Love this vacuum although not happy with the cord holder used when vacuuming. Doesn't hold the cord at all which means I've gotta hold the card in my hand.
