It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. There was only a handle to assemble on it when you take it out of the box and it didn’t take long at all to get that on. Very sturdy when climbing up.
