This model does a good job overall at washing fabrics. It also has a nice look and a large capacity. I really like front-loading models because they seem to do a better job of washing clothes as well as larger items like comforters and sleeping bags. It is fairly quiet and has a sufficient number of wash cycle options. It also lacks features that I found unnecessary, like steam cleaning and a "towels" cycle. I love this tower! Moved laundry to the first floor from the basement in a 100yo home. They nicely fit into a closet and are quiet and very efficient. Only 2 tbs of detergent needed, if you use too much you’ll get a notification for the app. Oh that’s great too, the app also alerts you when the washer and dryer are done or if there are any problems. Make sure they are properly installed, the dryer needs to have drainage. The guy who installed mine hadn’t installed an electric heat pump dryer yet and didn’t realize which led to a build up of water in the washer pan and the clothes would be damp. The clothes come out clean and smelling fresh. The machine itself is very quiet… I have probably run about 100 loads on it already and I never hear it. I've had this unit for a year now and can attest to its reliability and performance. My condo has a small laundry closet and this is the only front-loading LG model that would fit. It is quiet and most of my laundry comes out clean and ready for the dryer. I find that the dryer actually works comparably to a vented dryer and it is easier on my clothes. My condo association discourages ventless dryers because of its prior experiences with water damage from leaks into other units which are not as much of an issue with the newer ventless technology. I love that I don't have to worry about pulling the unit out of the closet to periodically clean the dryer vent. My only issue is that sometimes laundry will come out with dry streaks indicating that the wash cycle was somehow not fully soaked the garments, even when stacked in the drum according to the manual. This is the most elegant laundry machine I have ever seen and it feels like you can put an endless amount of clothes in the washer before it's full. I'm still learning all the washer settings but so far it's been pretty easy to learn. The touchscreen makes it very easy to use. When it's running it's really quiet when you consider how much it's washing. I tried the fast wash mode the other day and it was done in 30 minutes. It's a really complete and luxorious washing machine... And I never thought I would say the word luxorious when talking about a washing machine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer does an amazing job and there are soooo many options to ensure your clothes get the right drying temp, etc. that they need. Connected to wi-fi - just haven't used that yet. Two small issues - (1) our lint sensor is crazy sensitive. Just had the ducts cleaned yet it constantly gives us a warning that our ducts are almost blocked. (2) the vent in the back started rusting within 3 months!!! This portable washer has honestly made laundry so much easier. It’s compact enough for smaller spaces but still holds a good amount of clothes and cleans really well. Setup was easier than I expected, and I love being able to do laundry at home without trips to the laundromat. It runs smoothly, has useful wash settings, and feels like a huge convenience overall.
