Have had for about a month and love it so much! The turbo was is quick and cleans really well. Sheets do take longer to dry if using the bulky setting but doesn't if you use the regular setting. This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes. I've had this unit for a year now and can attest to its reliability and performance. My condo has a small laundry closet and this is the only front-loading LG model that would fit. It is quiet and most of my laundry comes out clean and ready for the dryer. I find that the dryer actually works comparably to a vented dryer and it is easier on my clothes. My condo association discourages ventless dryers because of its prior experiences with water damage from leaks into other units which are not as much of an issue with the newer ventless technology. I love that I don't have to worry about pulling the unit out of the closet to periodically clean the dryer vent. My only issue is that sometimes laundry will come out with dry streaks indicating that the wash cycle was somehow not fully soaked the garments, even when stacked in the drum according to the manual. Just had the ducts cleaned yet it constantly gives us a warning that our ducts are almost blocked. (2) the vent in the back started rusting within 3 months!!! Just like the matching washer, I bought it for an upstairs laundry closet area where a normal size stacked washer and dryer just would not fit in my home. We are running the water lines next week and I honestly cant wait to get everything installed upstairs, but for now I’ve been trying it out in the basement and have been really impressed with it so far. One thing I had to learn at first is that heat pump dryers work differently than a traditional dryer. I was expecting clothes to come out feeling really hot, so at first I thought something was wrong, but once I read about how they work it made a lot more sense. It’s more energy efficient and much gentler on your clothes, which I really appreciate. The 40 minute quick cycle has been great for smaller loads, and I also love that you can set it to keep tumbling to help prevent wrinkles if you don’t unload it right away. The drum light is also a great feature and makes it much easier to see everything inside. Another thing I really like is the lint filter design. It has a nice double filter setup with very fine mesh that does a great job catching lint. I also love that this is ventless, because that opens up so many more options for where you can put it. It’s wonderful for spaces where you normally couldn’t install a dryer, and I also like that you can optionally hook it up to drain automatically instead of having to empty the water container. Another nice bonus is that it’s WiFi connected. I wouldn’t say that’s something I absolutely need, but it is really nice to have.
