We filled it and at the time the temperature was 57 degrees it took 6 hours to reach 102. We live in Michigan and it’s fall temperature around 60. I keep it down on lowest setting most of the time as I like a lower power bill. When I want to do my dishes or need to use more water, I hike it up and get the water really hot. Then I can add cold water and I have enough to do my dishes and then some! I turn it back down to the lowest setting after and I have warm water to wash my hands and such. Perfect heater for under sink! Easy to use. Pretty easy to install. The perfect sized heater for easy install and only need for sink you use for everything in the cabin. I had to kick this up to 5 stars because it is just what I needed to get my hot water in the cabin! Makes life so much easier in the country. This hot water heater does heat up 4 gallons of water that you can heat up to the max and add cold water so you have hot water for the entire load of dishes. Oh I am glad I got this one! At first I was skeptical about the hot tub. I had read reviews and watched YouTube videos. When it arrived the set up was simple. Its easier to watch a YouTube video than follow the instructions. Blow up time was literally less than 10 minutes. It hasnt deflated by it self which I read and the water holds temperature well. I highly recommend getting the insurance. I had to get a new unit because mine had an error code about the the unit. They looked up my info and I sent the receipt as request and I had a new motor within a week.
