Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. Overall a good quality stove, has a major issue with center burner. The burner has been replaced a minimum of 5 times. The 6th burner is in the process of failure. This is a great range hood fan and I researched many many different ones before coming across this one. It's actually a Canadian company but the actual company was out of stock . The hood is gorgeous with everything I wanted it to have ( 4 lights, not just 2 and they're DIMMABLE!!), 2 simple dials; one for lights and one for fan speed ( no ugly black electronic panel with yet another clock..lol) and it's pretty quiet, even on the highest speed which is a powerful 750 cfm.
