We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new induction range. It is not only beautiful to look at, but a dream to cook with. Temperatures are much easier to contribute than my previous range, and everything I've made in the oven has come out perfectly. If I had to improve anything, it would be two things, I would appreciate dials that were easier to read. The writing on them is small and not hard to see in low light. The other thing is the indicator bell when the oven reaches temperature is faint and it's not as obvious to read when the temperature is reached. But otherwise I love everything about it! I had heard some complaints about the top scratching, but I have not had any problems with that. It still looks perfect after it's cleaned. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase!. Kargo.
