This arrived very quickly and was packaged very securely so it arrived in perfect condition. It's much heavier than I expected, but that's a good thing since you don't want this tipping over. There was no assembly, so from opening the box to getting it going was quick and easy. So far, it works as expected. The remote has a lot of useful functions including turn off and on the lights at night to reduce the brightness for light sleepers. A few things to know beforehand. This window ac unit does everything it should. Its small but mighty. I have it in a smaller bedroom and it cools it down very quickly! The lowest temp is 61 as a timer and all the basic features that a window unit usually comes with. You can turn the display off the lights in the display with the remote or you can leave it on. The display is very clear to read. I know its more of a personal preference, but I like how the remote is kind of bulky and a nice size. I always lose smaller things so I appreciate the size of the remote. The installation is what you would expect with any window AC unit. Nothing special. I love my Proline 30 1000 CFM ducted wall mount range hood in brushed stainless steel. I have been a restaurant owner for 30 years and know the necessity of a good hood system. I havent been so lucky in my house. Ive only ever had an over the range microwave fan system. When our house flooded I had the opportunity to upgrade our kitchen and I jumped on getting a real hood for my range. It has been amazing! I absolutely love it, it has been installed for just over three months. I use it almost every single time I turn on my stove range. It is quiet enough for home use and extremely strong.
