The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. I'm definitely pleasantly surprised by this double seater recliner! It's quality is better than the ones they have most movie theaters I've been to and the charging pad is useful enough to make use of.
