It is heavy and solid might need a little reinforcement with placement for securing reassurance. The single bowl is deep and spacious. Nice look, have only used it a week but have not had any stains, etc. Easy to clean and matching drains look nice. Update - have had it for 4 years now so downgraded to 4 stars from 5. Like the sink,works well,looks good. Only compaint is that over time the center divider can get very small chips/wear. Also the Kohler sticker is way off center which you can see in the last pic where the faucet hole is on the countertop is dead center on the sink and the sticker is pretty far off to the right, but I’ve seen this is a common thing and a lot of people take the sticker off themselves so it’s not a huge deal.. We installed this 5 years ago on a remodel and had looked at the 9" depth in the store and decided on that one. We didn't realize right next to it was the 5" depth and when we went back to order at the plumbing store, accidentally just pointed the 5" depth out in a rush to get it ordered. When it arrived, the plumber pointed it out and said we would hate it and offered to return and reorder, but we had already waited 3 weeks for this one and were eager to be done with the remodel so we opted to keep it. We are 5 years in and wish we had paid more attention and listened to our plumber. The sink, while lovely and works, is not deep enough to counter splashing when washing hands, pots, etc. and so as a result the granite around the sink is already showing signs of hardwater stains that we will have to pay to have polished out. This is a nice stable base that was well packaged (so much better than Build) and I’m happy with how well the dual flush tank works. No issues with needing to flush again or unclog anything. I’m also pleasantly surprised that the shape doesn’t seem to encourage ‘streaking’. It may be that the water level is high enough inside the bowl or it could be that it’s new and clean...? The base rests on the outside edges AND some interior supports, so our not level floor would not let the base sit flush on the floor. Some plastic shims in the back resolved the issue.. Anonymous. So, the sink is beautiful and I love the offset drain and the work station features (extra cost but you can have a cutting board, colander, drying board and soaking bowl). However, two separate sinks were delivered with cracks in the corner. One was substantial, and I returned it to Wayfair w/o issue. The second was a small hairline crack that was just forming, and I exchanged it under warranty with Kohler. I got a 3rd sink with no issues, but now I'm scared cracks might develop down the road. Unfortunately the counter was already templated to this sink (which btw you must use the template to make sure the edges are exposed for the accessories), so I just have my fingers crossed. LOVE this sink! The 60/40 allows me to wash larger pans without issue on the larger side, and the low divide allows for pan handles to go over it without sticking out of the sink. Can not recommend enough!. Laura. Wed Dec 17 2025
