Decent fan for the price. Instructions were very basic without a great deal of detail. Had to do some research on the web to clarify wiring questions. But, all in all, assembly was not difficult and the fan seems to be quiet and has several speed andlighting modes. Remote is useful. Tips: 1. If your outlet has red, black, and white wires, only the black and white are connected to fan; cap the red with a wire nut. 2. Green and yellow wire on bracket connects to ground. 3. You may need to replace two existing screws on motor with longer screws in order to secure the ceiling cover. 4. A flat screw driver set is very helpful in securing those two screws because the space between the cover and motor housing is tight. 5. Some bolt holes were too small for the bolts supplied. I bought Michael Aram frog pulls for my cabinets, but felt it was overkill to add them to my drawers. I was looking for something with an organic feel, but nothing so cheesy as lily pads. Fan is very nice looking, sturdy. 2 small issues, the fan came with no assembly instructions which I was able to find on line, there was also some sliver cable attached with the wires and I have no idea what that was for.
