I’ve been using my sauna every single day since we got it and I honestly love it. It has become part of my daily routine! My husband put it together in about 5 hours. The instructions were a bit difficult to follow, but he was able to figure it out. We did have to change the outlet because the plug was different but it was an easy swap. It heats up to 150 degrees in about 20 to 25 minutes. One of the main reasons I chose this sauna was because of the wattage. I did a lot of research before buying since there is such a wide price range, and higher wattage really does make a difference in how quickly and efficiently it heats. Sauna was delivered on time and came in 3 big packages, but all wrapped together nicely. Packaging was done well to protect the packages. I had to open the packages in order to carry the individual pieces in to my basement. Set up was relatively easy, but does take two people as one person needs to hold pieces up while the other person gets the next piece. Setup took me only about 30 - 45 mins. I have the 4 person sauna so did need a dedicated 20amp outlet. Plugged all the cords in and everything worked like a charm! Control panel is easy to use and sauna works as expected! The one thing that could make it better... the control panel is inside the sauna. I wish their were a control panel on the outside as well. Then you could turn on the sauna from outside, rather than having to go inside the sauna to get it started up. Having a panel on the outside would also allow you to see what the temperature was inside while it's heating up. Definitely not affecting my use of the sauna, would just be a nice to have. The Sequoia is easy to assemble and the all natural Canadian red cedar wood will enhance any decor.

The product itself is very nice. However, this product is not intended for the typical consumer to build and install. The vast majority will need professional help. Background: I'm a 37 year old male, strong build, typical experience with construction and electrical work. The package arrives in a massive wood structure. The boxes all say 'THIS SIDE UP' with arrows pointing up. IGNORE THEM. Those are only for shipping. When you unload the boxes, you'll need to disassemble the wood structure and CAREFULLY lay the boxes on their sides. It will take 2-3 people to do this. There are glass panels inside one of these boxes, so be very careful. If you try to unload the boxes as they are, you are almost guaranteed to scratch the wood as you slide them out. There are 3 boxes containing panels. The first 2 boxes contain panels that I could lift and carry on my own. The 3rd box has the front and back panels (front has glass) and they are extremely heavy. Two strong men had a hard time moving them into place. You won't want to carry them more than a few feet, so make sure your delivery guy brings the wood structure close to where you want your sauna. The instructions are almost worthless. They are written in a weird Asian-English hybrid, and THEY ONLY GIVE YOU INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE 2-PERSON MODEL. This meant that I had an entire panel that was not listed anywhere in the parts list, or the instructions. I eventually figured out that this extra panel goes on the floor, but it meant I had to disassemble the bench and re-build the silly thing. Again, the instructions are a big weak point here. One good tip - the instructions say that a 'qualified electrician is required for installation'. If you ever manage to get this thing built, it operates very nice. We've used it for about a week now, and it has been great. It takes about 24 minutes to get up to 130 degrees, and another 20 to bump it all the way up to 140. If you are experienced in construction and electrical work, and you have a few strong people to help you, you should be fine. Once you do, it's a good product. I researched the heck out of this purchase, and we couldn't be more pleased that we decided on this one! Delivery was quicker than promised, and the packages are very cleverly put together. We had three people for our assembly, and it went like a breeze. The most difficult part was finding the box of instructions and screws (which was at the very bottom of the LAST box we opened)! An indicator on the outside of the appropriate box - a red ribbon, or a message on the outside of the box - would solve this frustration. The clamps that hold the panels together are GENIUS, and the sauna was up and running in our pool house within hours (we unpacked in our barn, which was the staging area, and easily carried each panel as required into the pool house, some 30 yards distant). Heating took a matter of mere minutes, although we did find that the temperature fluctuates by about 5 degrees, throughout the course of a session. The quality, cedar scent, and penetrating heat are so restorative, and we even find we like the "mood" lighting, although I was dubious about this function, at first. We still haven't figured out how to use the MP3 player. The instructions are nothing short of incomprehensible, but we'll persevere (as other reviewers have). Although our sauna will predominantly be used by one or two of us at a time, the 4-person sauna was a good choice, as it allows greater ease of movement and comfort. This sauna is PERFECT in a pool house situation, as we use it the way saunas have historically been used by the Romans, indigenous people, etc. ... alternating between hot sauna and cold dips in the pool (which we swim in year-round, here in SC), but cold showers or a roll in the snow would have this same effect, in northern climes, or in the absence of a nearby pool or lake. I recently purchased this infrared sauna & love it! The materials used, from the smooth wood paneling to the tempered glass doors, is very durability . It fits beautifully in my room corner. The radio hook up to my phone via blue tooth. It plays loud when connected to music. There is a book/ magazine rack. And a towel rack. Cleaning is very easy. Setup was straightforward , and the user manual was clear and helpful. It took 3 Adults to put it together. It arrived by freight and the pieces were large but packed securely. No broken pieces. Make sure that all of the cord are securely plugged or some of the heating panels may not work. It has a simple control panel, I can easily adjust the temperature outside and inside the sauna. It takes a while to heat so I preheat while working out. Its perfect for a post-workout relaxer. I did notice that the heat gets only up to 135 max not 140.
