First. I am glad that I read the reviews especially the negative ones so I could see for myself if the problems are systemic for this product. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, and it looks great. The product was well packed and there was no damage from shipping, but the package was long and bulky causing the delivery personnel to struggle getting it off the truck. There were only 2 screw holes (in the horizontal supports) that didn’t match up where the H1 bolt would not fit. Fortunately, the 2 places didn’t affect the integrity of the product. Two of the slats on the horizontal bars were welded slightly off (1/8”) making it impossible to use the longer H1 screws. I overcame this by using the spare shorter screws that are used to install upper panels. The use of plastic screws on the top ceiling metal sheets (top of the gazebo) are a waste of time and hold the panels in very well. Constructions tips: It does take four people to get the frame standing and installed. It only takes about 5 minutes to erect the post and insert them into place. So, get your neighbors to help for this major step. It also takes 2 people to set the top copula onto the frame. The rest of the construction can be done by yourself. One complaint I read was that the holes of the metal roof didn’t properly align up with the frame. Since I was aware of this, I didn’t tighten all the screws until all panels were installed. There is enough wiggle room to make the necessary adjustments to get all the screws into the holes. The same issue applies to the rafters when installing the support cross beams. Losen the brackets up so that the cross beams can be inserted into place. Be careful about cross threading the H1 bolts into the frame. I messed up on 1 and it’s not repairable. Use your fingers to start the bolt before using the 10mm tools to lock into place. It took me two 10-hour days to unpack, build, make minor adjustment, and clean up to complete this project. I also had a great time building this project since the finished product does look very impressive. I am happy with the product and would purchase again. I love this gazebo! Unfortunately my previous Wayfair gazebo collapsed due to the tremendous amount of snow and ice we received early in January. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. We finally got this gazebo up. Love the final look but it was a process to get here. It took 3 people roughly 10-12 hours to complete this. The instructions are fine but I think order of them could make more sense for the roof attachment. The instructions also never tell you what tools to use if each step which would have been nice. There’s so many parts that we needed a little more guidance with that part. We also had all 4 of the posts scratched upon arrival. They scratch easy but thankfully it comes with touch up stain. We used different anchor bolts to attach the base to our concrete because it didn’t seem to work with the 38” hole that they recommend. Awesome 12x20 gazebo. The netting installation was a little confusing at first, but we were able to figure it out. Assembly took father and son approximately 6–7 hours, including breaks, which honestly wasn’t too bad for the size. It would be great if the manufacturer included clearer information about ordering replacement parts in the instructions. So far, the gazebo has held up very well through rain and high winds and feels sturdy once assembled. Gorgeous once it is up but it was a total pain to get the roof panels installed. The instructions were not the most helpful when you get to the roof panel, there are little black clips that per the instruction only need to be used when putting up the smaller roof panels but they are needed to hold the larger panels as they are slid in.
