Great upgrade from a standard toilette . Built in bidet is perfect solution since we did not have space for a separate European style bidet . Simpler install without needing electric hookup was a plus and also cheaper . no warm water option was not as big of an issue as I thought … water pressure on bidet spray tube is high so don’t turn it on when you’re facing it or you will get sprayed in the face.. I absolutely LOVE this toilet. I pretty much dont have to touch it. I have an suppressed immune system so hygiene is a top priority. This added time and cost to the install that shouldn’t be necessary. Buy a high-quality wax ring with a rubber gasket or flange before installation — it’s almost essential with this toilet. One major let-down was the toilet seat lid It’s made of thin plastic that doesn’t feel sturdy. It flexes too much and doesn’t give a sense of durability. Compared to higher-end soft-close seats, this feels like the weakest part of the whole toilet. Side Screw Covers Do Not Fit This was one of the most frustrating parts The side covers that are supposed to hide the mounting screws do not fit. They won’t snap on or screw on properly. As a result, the mounting screws are fully visible, which ruins the clean, finished look the toilet is supposed to have This feels like a design or manufacturing defect, not user error.. Kim. This toilet was mounted of an exterior wall. The plumber mounted the water supply coming out of the floor, 6" to the left of the drain. All the modern skirted toilets had a base of 12" or wider.
